"A Trip Advisor for healthy snacks in Japan."

OBLITERATE SNACKER STRESS!

AN AWAKENING FOR YOUR DIET

Beautiful and exotic, yes, but still, Japan isn't your home country. Finding your way around here can be a real kicker.

It must be a headache for you to find healthy, good-tasting foods to eat on your diet. Figuring out what to eat is hard enough when labels are written in your own language.

Inside this one-stop guide, you'll learn everything you need to know so you won't have to struggle, all by yourself, to find something you can eat in Japan! When you're in a foreign land, finding what you need is so much easier when you have recommendations from a friend.

THE "FAST TRACK LANE" TO THE BODY YOU DESERVE.

You're at Haneda Airport: Instead of obsessively hunting for something you can eat, consuming all your time and energy, you grab a protein bar with added sugar or one Japanese-size KitKat, that turns into three, with the resolve to do better next time.

But then when that next time comes along, you fall into the same pattern of making an excuse, letting yourself off the hook, and delaying your new healthy eating habits until the next-next time that never seems to actually come.

According to a study in the of Appetite, eating chocolate makes you feel good for a whole three minutes. What are you gonna say to yourself when your 3 minutes are up?

You don't need more willpower- you just need more options. If you have the option of grabbing a Starbucks chocolate chunk scone to-go and not missing your flight or starving for the next two-three hours before your packet of JAL rice crackers on the plane- who the heck wouldn't choose scone!?  I, for one, would!

With this guidebook, I wanna put all your options available in Japan on your tray table so you can choose something that still tastes good without all the self-shaming when your 3 minutes are up.

Not just the airport. This guidebook is your "fast-track pass" for you to find the right foods, whiz towards your weight-loss and health goals,  so you can enjoy your time while you're in Japan and not have to constantly worry about what you can eat!

Matt Eisenhauer: I gave a spelling test for my class of 2nd graders in Tokyo and included my last name as a “challenge word”. That’s the short story of how staging.eyesandhour.com, a blog about healthy food in Japan, got its name- thanks to a seven-year-old girl (who still has no idea to this day.) When my ten-years-younger girlfriend commented that our age difference was maybe a little too obvious to her friends, taking the hint, I lost 20 pounds and “reclaimed my 20s”.
